300 g Minced meat (Kheema)
1 Table spoon Oil
2 Tea spoon Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Medium Onion
1 Tea spoon Red chilli powder
1 Tea spoon Coriander powder
1/2 Tea spoon Garam Masala Powder
1/4 Tea spoon Turmeric Powder
1 Medium Tomato
1 to 2 (or as per taste) Green chili
Salt to taste
1 Table spoon (optional) chopped mint leaves
1 Table spoon (optional) Coriander leaves chopped
to garnish fried Ginger

  1. Make ready minced meat. (I used beef Kheema here. Use either store bought or home made).

  1. Heat oil in  a pan and add ginger garlic paste and chopped onion and saute well until light brown color.

  1. Now add in chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garam masala powder.
  2. Fry them for few seconds on low flame. (Make sure not to burn the spices)

  1. Add in minced meat (kheema) to the onion-spice mixture and fry and cook them on medium flame for about 10 minutes. (stir occasionally). You will get the water from the meat, so don’t add water at this stage.

  1. Now add in chopped tomato,chopped green chili and 1/2 to 1 Cup water. Mix them well, close the lid and cook for another 10 to 15 minutes.
  2. Switch off the flame and finish them with chopped mint and coriander leaves.
  3. Garnish with fried gingers while serving.
  4. Serve with your choice of Rice or Bread.

Tips & Tricks

  • Use your choice of minced meat. Cooking time slightly vary as per the meat you used.
  • You can avoid adding water at the end for dry version of kheema masala.
